Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only method recognized by the FDA for permanent hair removal. Unlike laser hair removal, which targets pigment and is ineffective on light, grey, or red hair, electrolysis works on every hair color and every skin type. It is the permanent solution.

How It Works

A licensed electrologist inserts a hair-thin probe into each individual hair follicle. A small, precisely controlled electrical current is delivered to destroy the follicle’s root and growth center — permanently preventing that hair from ever growing back. Each session targets active-growth hairs. Because hair grows in cycles, a series of treatments is needed to catch every follicle in its active phase. Most clients see significant permanent clearance within 12–18 months of consistent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the area, hair density, and your hair growth cycle. Most clients need 8–18 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for full clearance. We’ll give you a realistic estimate during your free consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe a brief stinging or warmth with each insertion, similar to a quick snap. Facial areas tend to be more sensitive than body areas. Topical numbing is available upon request.

Is electrolysis safe for all skin tones?

Yes. Unlike laser, electrolysis is equally effective and safe for all skin tones and hair colors, including white, blonde, grey, and red hair that laser cannot target.

How is sugaring and waxing different from electrolysis?

Waxing and sugaring remove hair temporarily — results last 3–6 weeks. Electrolysis is the only permanent option recognized by the FDA.
